While depicting the people of our Historical American West as a premier Western Artist, Robert A. Hudson not only paints it, he has experienced it.

Having lived in Idaho for nearly 20 years, Mr. Hudson absorbed the feeling and attitude of the people and the land.

After participating in the PRCA as a team roper, he raised horses on his ranch in Northern Idaho.  This experience gave Mr. Hudson a more complete knowledge and understanding of his favorite subject while working with friends and neighbors.  Their camaraderie came from working cattle the old fashion way... from horseback.  His passion for Western Art comes from his real life experience.

Mr. Hudson, an award winning oil painter, has won best of show awards on numerous occasions and quickly developed a following of collectors that spans four continents.
